What is the difference between a commercial agent and a salesman?

The basic difference is that one is a salaried employee while the other is independent. A commercial agent is an independent professional registered in the special register of the Commercial Court. A broker who negotiates and closes sales or the provision of services on behalf of businesses, the commercial agent may have contracts with several companies that he represents or a contract of exclusivity with one sole company. He might employ subagents or salaried staff. He draws up invoices corresponding to the commissions on sales made. He meets the costs of prospecting and selling. The commercial agent has a portfolio of customers.
